As soon as the ferry completes finishes its journey between the Los Cristianos dock and Puerto de la Estaca, you’ll immediately spot El Hierro’s wealth of nature. Landscapes, a volcanic environment found nowhere else in the world, dramatic cliffs, native species, crystal-clear waters, an exuberance of plant life... Wherever you look as you travel by Jeep, you’re certain to be amazed. You’ll also make various stops on your Jeep Safari; El Hierro has many fascinating spots such as the tiny farming villages of Erese and Tiñor, the spectacular El Golfo, and Las Puntas.
Travel in comfort in a 4x4 Jeep and hear the stories, anecdotes and tales of cultural history from the Tamarán team, who will ensure you have the best experience possible. Half-way through the journey, when you reach Frontera, you’ll stop to eat in a restaurant that serves local food. When you set off after lunch, you’ll head towards El Golfo, another important stop on this unique Jeep Safari; El Hierro like it’s never been seen before.
The experience finishes in the afternoon and you’ll be returned to the starting point having enjoyed a magical experience on an island you’ll never forget, as you treasure its lava formations, plunging cliffs, fresh air and much more in your memory forever.
