Teide Masca (Grand Tour)

Excursion through Teide National Park, Masca and the north coast of Tenerife.

On this tour we will spend a full day touring the most representative places in the north of Tenerife.

Our first visit will be to the Teide National Park, located in the heart of Tenerife and home to the highest peak in Spain: the volcano El Teide. Here we will stop for about 30 minutes to admire the impressive volcanic landscapes of Las Cañadas del Teide, not forgetting the emblematic Roques de García.

After this visit, we will descend to Icod de los Vinos where we will have the opportunity to contemplate the famous Drago Milenario, which is said to be more than 800 years old. You will have free time to have lunch on your own or enjoy the Canarian gastronomy tasting one of the menus that we recommend in some of the restaurants in the area.

The next destination is Garachico, a colourful coastal village with a history marked by a volcanic eruption in 1706. Here we will stroll through the streets of its historic quarter, recognised as a Cultural Heritage Site and one of the most representative of the Canary Islands, and discover emblematic sites such as the natural pools of El Caletón, formed by lava flows, or the Castle of San Miguel, an ancient fortress that defended the town from pirate attacks.

We will follow the route and enter the vibrant nature of the Teno Rural Park until we reach the hamlet of Masca, located between impressive valleys and ravines. Let yourself be surprised by the charm of the traditional architecture of this enclave, declared a Site of Ethnographic and Historical Interest and an Asset of Cultural Interest.

    La ruta de la excursión es maravillosa, Jose el chófer del bus fue increíble su pericia al volante, y muy simpático, pero muy a mi pesar Garry no estuvo a la altura de su puesto en mi opinión y la de mi familia, en primer lugar no paró de atosigar con meter presión de ir rápido a todos sitios , en lugar de estar todo el tiempo atosigando puede ir explicando los rincones y sitios y se hace más ameno y nos informa, en segundo lugar muy poco tiempo en las paradas en los pueblos en especial garachico.

    Ha sido una experiencia inolvidable, que sin duda repetiríamos mi madre y yo. Tanto el conductor, Jairo, como el guía, Nauzet, superaron con creces nuestras expectativas. Jairo transmitía una gran profesionalidad y confianza; daba mucha tranquilidad ver lo bien que controlaba todo. Por su parte, Nauzet consiguió que cada explicación fuese interesante y amena. Se nota cuando alguien disfruta de su trabajo, porque logra contagiar esa pasión y dejar huella. Gracias a ambos, guardaremos esta vivencia como una de las mejores experiencias que hemos tenido. De verdad, gracias por demostrar que todavía existen profesionales de primer nivel. Como comentó un señor en la guagua: lo que cobréis, sea lo que sea, debería ser mucho más.

  • Mala experiencia

    No lo recomiendo. El autobús llega tarde 2 horas por un accidente pero durante esas horas operan el resto de autobuses incluso compañeros de la misma compañía al cual intento preguntarle y me ignora completamente. Luego en el autobús la gente van sentadas por separado personas que durante la excursión van junta en lugar de sentarse juntos se cogen cada uno 2 asientos impidiendo que pudiera ir con mi hija, para lo cual tuve que ponerme en la parte trasera del autobús con 3 personas más, a la hora de la comida nos ponen con personas que no conocíamos y no hablan nuestro idioma todo muy incómodo, por no decir que las 2 horas de retraso la perdí del tour pagado porque regresamos a la misma hora pero se me cobró íntegramente como si hubiera estado esas horas de tour y esas horas estuve en una parada de autobús esperando al sol mientras me quemaba… muy desagradable todo la verdad
