The Museum of Illusions welcomes you to a historic venue full of fascinating illusions, a wonderful atmosphere and helpful staff.

 

The Museum of Illusions contains a permanent exhibition is a 700 m2 space filled with illusions, scientific inventions and artistic expressions where physics and optics share space with mysterious works of art and classic riddles. You can enjoy a unique educational experience with interactive activities, such as light drawing or shadow making, and create unforgettable memories in our incredible upside-down world.

Do you have questions about how an invention works, do you want to hear amazing stories about art and history, do you want to expand your scientific knowledge or capture the moment with a photo? The museum team is always there for you! Its assistants are ready to reveal the secrets of the incredible world of illusions with a smile on their faces.

The permanent exhibition often undergoes small changes and new items are added to the collection every year. The museum team is constantly researching and exploring the world of science and art in search of new artistic solutions. 

Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by adults during their visit to the museum.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday: 10:00 to 19:00 (last session at 18:00)

Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 to 20:00 (last session at 19:00)

The museum is equipped with accessible facilities, including an adapted toilet and a platform lift.
