We arrive in San Sebastián de La Gomera, capital of the island, having departed from Los Cristianos harbour on the Fred Olsen Express Ferry.

The tour begins its ascent up to the mountains and to the viewpoint of Mirador de las Carboneras to take photographs and enjoy the scenery of the Hermigua Valley.

Continuing on to the Garajonay National Park which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

We descend through La Palmita arriving at the small village of Las Rosas, where we stop for a typical island lunch and enjoy a demonstration of the unique Gomeran whistling language, El Silbo.

Passing through the beautiful village of Hermigua, we return to San Sebastián, where there is free time to visit La Torre del Conde (The Count´s Tower), La Casa de Colón (Christopher Columbus’ House), the Asunción Church or simply stroll around the capital, before returning to Tenerife.

This has to be one of the best trips we have done. The driver and guide were excellent throughout the day. We were informed constantly what we were seeing, where we were going next and all points of interest Lunch was basic but edible. More water would have been a bonus, but catering to so many it was almost fast food. That said the views were breath taking, even for someone nervous of height We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, from the pick up, to the ferry trip, to the Island Tour. The contrast in climates has to be seen to be believed. The views breathtaking, and the National Park so vibrant in colour, it was hard to imagine we were nearly 4500 feet above sea level I just want to end by saying.... If you fancy something different, enjoy adventure, and being kept up to date on what is happening this trip is a must. Lunch aside a wonderful and memorable excursion

    DESNA BRUCE WALKER: 28/12/2017

An enjoyable excursion, but rather a long day - 12 hours from pick up to drop off! Good value for money. We would have preferred a smaller bus and group, and less languages, as explaining the same thing in 3 languages was rather time consuming, however, our guide Bernard managed very well, and explained a lot of things on the bus as we went along. We also realise that a smaller group and bus would be more expensive. All in all, a nice trip, and Gomera is a very unique island and worth seeing.

Excellent trip- the guide was great- very knowledgeable, great fun. Really good day trip. One suggestion: it would be great if there would be more details about meeting point for those who joined the trip at the port, not picked form a hotel.

We have had a fantastic experience at every step since we booked our La Gomera trip with this company. The price that we got for the family ticket was excellent and far better than any other online company could offer. The tour was all inclusive. We were collected from our hotel by the tour operator bus and taken to the port. We were then transported by a large ferry from Los Cristianos to La Gomera island. The ferry run by Fred Olsen was modern and very good. Once at the island, the same bus that picked us took us for a day tour on the mountainous Gomera island. There was a highly experienced and knowledgeable tour guide for the entire tour who made the tour very interesting. We were served lunch, inclusive in the cost of the ticket, in a traditional Gomera restaurant and the food was elaborate and excellent. We were not expecting a glass of red wine, choice of starters, main course and desserts for lunch, which was simply excellent! When the tour concluded, we were taken back to the port by the ferry and dropped to our hotel by the bus from the port. Overall, a truly memorable experience, thanks to this excellent and highly reliable company, en. atlanticoexcursiones. com
