Flavors and wines of Tenerife: an excursion for the senses.

On this excursion through the south of Tenerife you will discover the most authentic flavors of the island and its renowned wines, with the convenience of returning to your accommodation in time to continue enjoying the day.

We will begin with a visit to a banana farm, where you will learn about the traditional cultivation of bananas and taste local products.

Afterwards, we will enjoy the stunning views of the mountain road towards Vilaflor, until we reach the Lagar de Chasna winery, where we will have a wine tasting accompanied by a delicious snack with the best of Canarian gastronomy.

After this experience, we will begin our return journey so you can enjoy the rest of the day as you wish.

Included: Transport in an air-conditioned bus. Guide with commentary. Visit to a banana plantation, visit to a winery, tasting of Canarian products and wines.

  • Enjoyable tour!

    We had an enjoyable time at the banana plantation and winery with Peter. He gave us lots of information at the banana plantation and it was fun trying all of the samples at the end of the session. We then had a beautiful drive up mount Teide to the winery, it was a bit chilly up there and I would recommend taking a jumper. The wine tasting was great - we tried 5 wines and they were all quite different. We also had a few Canadian snacks to taste. We got back to the hotel at around 2pm. It was an enjoyable day.

    The banana plantation and vineyard excursion we went on was very interesting. We learned a lot about growing bananas- not easy. The vineyard was also great with lovely snacks and good wine. Tour leader Peter was amusing and knowledgeable about a lot of Tenerife history etc. A good excursion.

    Peter our guide was excellent, informative, friendly, knowledgable & answered questions about Tenerife & what we were seeing on our journey. The banana plantation was very interesting & the samples we had were lovely. At the winery Andreas showed us round & did the wine tasting - he was also excellent! Very passionate about his wines - rightly so ???? The Canadian snacks were very tasty as well. A thoroughly enjoyable excursion- thank you.

  • Fantastic Tour
    We had a great time on this tour. The banana plantation visit was excellent and we learned so much. The wine and food tasting was also good, although they could give slightly bigger measures of the wines, you only got a thimble full. But would still thoroughly recommend this tour. And our tour guide Peter was brilliant, so entertaining and funny, with lots of knowledge.
